Attorney Richard Roberts

Attorney Richard Roberts, recognized as a preeminent municipal attorney in Connecticut, was quoted today in a Hartford Courant article by Tom Condon regarding the oldest form of municipal government in Connecticut: the town meeting. He and others in the Halloran Sage Municipal Group have come to represent more municipalities than any other firm in the state and also serve multiple private clients in municipal and land use matters outside of the towns they represent.  During the covid pandemic, Rich was called on to work with the governor’s office on necessary emergency orders allowing town government operations to continue during the crisis. He represents the Council of Small Towns and is frequently called on for special municipal projects in addition to the day-to-day service of our municipal clients.
