Richard Roberts presented at the Connecticut Chapter of the American Planning Association’s annual “Hot Topics in Land Use Law and Practice 2018” seminar at Goodwin College in East Hartford.
This program is CCAPA’s annual review of legislative initiatives and issues from this year’s session of the CT General Assembly, including discussion of current “hot topics” of concern and a session on ethics, designed to fulfill the law and ethics requirements as well as meet the CM standards for training. Planners also learned about environmental and other issues CT municipalities are now addressing in the face of climate adaptation, received updated education about Freedom of Information, and reviewed new case law and legal updates for land use – planning issues.
