Richard Roberts, a partner in Halloran & Sage’s Business and Commercial Law Practice Group, lectured at the National Business Institute’s seminar Boundary Disputes: Resolving Conflicts Without Going to Court.
The seminar discussed how most common boundary problems arise and how to apply real-world solutions to resolve these disagreements. Participants were also taught how to read and understand surveys and recognize special elements including restrictions, encroachments, zoning and flood plains and many other practical skills.
Richard received his A.B. degree,magna cum laude, from Dartmouth College and his J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. He has represented individuals, businesses and municipalities in connection with real estate, land use and general business matters. He has also represented lenders and borrowers in commercial loan transactions, and has represented numerous municipalities, their officials, boards and commissions, in a wide variety of matters. Richard is a member of the Connecticut, Maine and New Hampshire bar associations, the Connecticut Association of Municipal Attorneys and several other professional organizations.
