Richard Roberts, a member of Halloran & Sage’s transactional group, was recently elected to the Eastern States Exposition’s Board of Corporators. The volunteer Board is comprised of noted civic, business and agricultural leaders from all six New England states. The Board’s primary functions relate to enhancing and promoting the image of the organization and providing support and guidance to management. Richard is one of twenty-four individuals from Connecticut currently serving as a Corporator.
The Eastern States Exposition, which hosts the annual Big E exhibition among other community events, is a nonprofit educational institution committed to the development and promotion of agriculture, industry and family entertainment. The fair draws nearly 1.5 million people over 17 days. This year’s Big E kicked off its 100th year on September 16 and runs through October 2.
