Attorney Richard Roberts will present at the Land Use and Zoning: Working with Local Governments seminar sponsored by the National Business Institute on April 20th. The program focuses on overcoming real estate investment challenges. Rich will speak on the subject of “Local Ordinances and Procedures – What You Need to Know,” addressing topics such as:
Rich frequently represents municipalities in real estate acquisitions and sales, land use matters, charter review and revision, drafting and review of ordinances, FOIA and elections enforcement matters, and property tax issues. He is a member of the executive committee of the Planning and Zoning Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association and a member of the Connecticut Association of Municipal Attorneys. He participates actively in the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities, the Connecticut Council of Small Towns, and the Connecticut Town & City Management Association.
Rich and other distinguished faculty will share insight to help prepare professionals in tackling common problems faced when gaining land use approvals, navigating local ordinances and procedures, and addressing interactions with elected officials.
