Richard Roberts and Kenneth Slater Jr., Partners at Halloran & Sage recently presented a seminar “Conservation Easements: Legal Requirements and Pitfalls for Private and Municipal Practitioners”. The program was sponsored by the Connecticut Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section, Land Use/Environmental Committee and hosted by the Tolland County Bar Association.
Over 40 attorneys affiliated with the TCBA and the YLS Section attended the program. Specific topics that were discussed by the group included the authority of land use agencies to accept conservation easements, drafting and negotiating tips for conservation easements and recent relevant cases.
