Ronald Ochsner brings over fifty years of legal and engineering experience to his practice. He is a retired Naval officer who has provided both civil and criminal legal representation to a broad spectrum of clients. Building on his background as a licensed professional engineer and active practicing construction engineer, he nimbly guides both public and private entities through major construction contracting.
Ron started his legal career serving in the United States Navy as an engineer with the Naval Construction Forces (the Seabees). He retired from the Navy after serving as the Military Judge at the Submarine Base New London. In construction and land use disputes, Ron helps municipalities find resolution on their own terms. He handles litigation involving enforcement of complex construction projects and land use matters. He also guides municipal and private entities through the costly yet mandatory accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. He litigates these matters aggressively in both state and federal court and before administrative agencies.
Ron’s ease in navigating legal waters is particularly evident with respect to construction-related matters. With broad experience and a technical skill set to match his ambition, no legal challenge is too difficult to sway him from providing confident counsel to his construction clients.
