Attorney Mary Vlamis successfully obtained summary judgment in favor of an insurance company in a case in which the plaintiff was seeking compensation pursuant to a breach of contract action. The plaintiff claimed that she was entitled to damages pursuant to the automobile liability policy held by her driver through a ride share transportation provider for bodily injury sustained from a motor vehicle collision.

Attorney Vlamis argued that the plaintiff was a passenger in a vehicle being used to carry persons for a charge and therefore no coverage was available to the plaintiff under the insurance policy at issue.
