Halloran Sage represents an auto dealership in its general business matters, including contract negotiating and drafting regarding marketing, social media presence and community involvement. The firm recently represented the dealership in the negotiation, preparation, and execution of an endorsement agreement with a collegiate athlete. The agreement contemplated the athlete’s endorsement through online content, advertisements, and in-person appearances. The parties agreed that the athlete would retain sole discretion in the manner and means of creating the content for which it was responsible, but the dealership would have the right to review, request edits, or independently edit the content.
