Frederick J. Trotta, Sr. recently obtained a defendant’s verdict for an Emergency Room physician. The plaintiff came under the care of our client with symptoms consistent with a testicular torsion. Following a full examination, our client contacted a urologist and ordered an ultrasound and arterial venous duplex study. The study revealed no flow to the testicle and the Plaintiff was taken to surgery with a successful outcome. The plaintiff alleged our client delayed diagnosis and failed to control his pain. The Jury deliberated for 2 days and returned a defense verdict.
