Halloran & Sage attorneys were successful in convincing a federal government agency and the Department of Justice to rescind a federal debarment order. In this case a contractor was debarred from providing construction services to the federal government for a period of three years. Given the far reaching ramifications of the government’s action to the contractor, Halloran & Sage attorneys filed suit in Washington, D.C. seeking a declaration that the government’s action was unlawful and without basis. Shortly after the lawsuit was filed, Halloran & Sage attorneys were successful in obtaining a rescission of the debarment order with the Department of Justice and the government agency.
