Congratulations to David Shrair, who recently quarterbacked the multimillion-dollar sale of a well-established Massachusetts mid-sized multi-state and Canadian carrier with decades of operations in bulk, environmental and specialized hauling, to a larger competitor that wants to expand its services into the New England area.
The transaction took over 8 months to complete, was extensive and involved numerous complexities. The company hauled materials across much of the East Coast and into Canada, and multiple licenses, state permits and registrations required careful review. There were numerous intensive negotiations between the buyer and the seller concerning many operational and post-closing issues of the business.
David and Mike Schneider worked in tandem and Ann Catino handled some complex environmental issues in four locations.
