Attorney Carrie Burnsed represented a 16-town Connecticut regional government in a significant animal cruelty matter. As a result of the proceedings, the defendant was ordered to relinquish custody of more than 30 animals. Additionally, the court awarded nearly $100,000 in reimbursement for food, shelter, and veterinary care expenses incurred by the regional government while providing temporary care.
