As Halloran Sage celebrates our 90th year in business, we were proud to celebrate this year’s Women’s Equality Day together as a firm. A Lunch and Learn was held featuring special guest Ally Bonino, actress and star of the Broadway musical Suffs, in which she portrayed suffragist Lucy Burns. During this inspiring discussion, Ally shared her experience playing a leading figure in the American women’s suffrage movement and reflected on what she learned about the extraordinary women who fought for equality. Ally’s presentation was insightful and thought-provoking with attendees learning about the history, challenges, and achievements of the suffragists whose tireless efforts led to the adoption of the 19th Amendment, securing women’s right to vote.
