Earlier this month, Halloran Sage was recognized with the Hartford County Bar Association Pro Bono Award. The Firm’s exceptional efforts in this regard were recently highlighted in a Hartford Courant article and on Lite 100.5 WRCH’s weekly public affairs show, Spotlite. In the Courant article, Attorney Gregory Gagne, a veteran and board member of Connecticut Veterans Legal Center (CVLC), said the firm “has focused on eviction cases because housing is a critical issue that veterans face.” Attorneys Rachel Fain and Oscar Suarez, Co-Chairs of the Firm’s Pro Bono Committee, emphasized that “because Halloran Sage is a large law firm, it has the resources to immediately jump into a case.”
On Lite 100.5, host Mary Scanlon interviewed Greg and Liam Brennan, Executive Director of CVLC. During the interview, they discussed Halloran Sage’s long-standing partnership with CVLC, how CVLC’s services help stabilize veterans’ lives, and ways for others to get involved with the organization.
