Angela Robinson has been named to the Connecticut CASA Advisory Council. Angela brings her background as a mediator with Halloran Sage and as a retired Superior Court judge to the Connecticut affiliate of the national nonprofit. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) works to advance the best interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect, so every child can find a safe, permanent home to thrive.
In a New Haven Register article, Angela said, “I am excited to join with CASA in helping to shape a world in which everyone has a meaningful say in their lives, and everyone’s whole person is valued and treated with respect…Children, above all, are worth the investment.”
Angela is a James W. Cooper Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation and serves on the Boards of the Greater New Haven Arts Council and the New Haven Legal Assistance Association. Additionally, she is a Visiting Professor and the Waring and Carmen Partridge Faculty Fellow at Quinnipiac Law School, and she teaches trial practice at Yale Law School.
