Halloran Sage attorneys recently attended the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center (CVLC)’s 10 Year Saluting Service gala. Over the past ten years, the CVLC has taken on more than 1,000 cases for veterans facing legal struggles and has facilitated pro bono legal services equivalent to $4 million dollars for Connecticut veterans. In partnering with the CVLC, Halloran Sage has maintained a 100% pro bono referral acceptance rate over the past few years.
As a firm, Halloran Sage continually strives to serve in greater and greater capacity with the CVLC in order to serve our veterans in Connecticut.
Pictured below (L to R) are some of the firm’s pro bono attorneys: Alyssa Caserta, Liam Bohonnon, CVLC board member and Air Force JAG Corps veteran Greg Gagne, Rachel Fain, and Pro Bono Committee Co-Chairs, Jesse Conrad and Oscar Suarez.
The mission of the CVLC is to help veterans recovering from homelessness and mental illness overcome legal barriers to housing, healthcare, and income.
