On Tuesday, August 25th, attorney Michael Wrona will present at the annual Connecticut National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (CONN NAHRO) Convention, hosted virtually this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. He will tackle the timely subject of “Polices & Procedures – Liability during COVID-19,” one of several seminars related to COVID-19 on the schedule.
Michael practices in the areas of landlord-tenant, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation. For the last twelve years, he has represented housing authorities in a wide variety of matters ranging from tenant evictions to forming related 501©(3) entities to providing legal counsel in navigating federal and state regulations. His experience in this area is aided greatly by having served on his town’s housing authority for the past eight years, giving him the perspective of both counselor and commissioner, and deep insight into the day-to-day issues facing housing authorities.
CONN-NAHRO brings together state, local, and national resources to create safe, decent affordable and public housing. They offer a forum for public housing professionals who are dedicated to providing safe, decent and affordable housing for all Connecticut citizens, particularly those with very low, low and moderate incomes.
