Halloran & Sage Attorney Michael Collins recently participated in the Connecticut Challenge, a charity bike ride with donations funding programs for cancer survivors. This was Michael’s third year participating in the event. Inspired by a college classmate who is a cancer survivor and the driving force behind his twenty-six person Connecticut Challenge team, which also included a number of additional cancer survivors, the team successfully completed the ride and raised over $30,000.
The Connecticut Challenge, founded in 2005, is providing vital support to cancer survivors. The organization is also focused on investigating the long-term effects of cancer and cancer treatments on survivors and providing credible information and comprehensive resources that empower cancer survivors to lead healthier, happier and longer lives. The Connecticut Challenge charity bike ride has been the sole source of revenue for the organization.
