Matthew Necci’s professional accomplishments and community involvement were highlighted in his recent selection as a member of the Class of 2016 of the Hartford Business Journal’s “40 Under Forty” list. Matt, Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Practice Group, is an enthusiastic leader in several Greater Hartford community organizations, including as a member of the Board of Directors of Leadership Greater Hartford and Special Olympics Connecticut, on the Executive Committee of Hartford Hospital’s Young Leaders Advisory Council, and on the Board of Corporators for the iQuilt Plan. He was also the 2015-2016 Chair of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section. The theme of this year’s awards—the 20th annual—is “standing the test of time,” something Matt has embodied in his career at Halloran & Sage as he continues to be a proven leader at the Firm. The yearly awards highlight young professionals who excel in their field and demonstrate a continued effort to give back to the community. Matt’s profile, in which he shares his goals, aspirations and two greatest passions (family and UConn, in that order), appears in the July 25, 2016 issue of the Hartford Business Journal.
