On August 3rd, John Howell of our Washington, D.C. office will moderate a panel on the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) regulatory processes. The event will take place in Chicago during the Public Contract Law Section of the American Bar Association’s Annual Meeting. The panel will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the cryptic, often opaque FAR/DFARS rulemaking process and explore the ways in which procurement law and administrative law exist in close proximity, albeit if not in perfect harmony.
