James Perito to Moderate 2021 Annual Regional Legislative Forum with Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce

Attorney James Perito will moderate three virtual legislative forums next month, on January 14th, 21st, and 28th from 8 – 9:30 a.m. each day. The event, hosted by the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce (GNHCC) and supported by the Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee, draws business leaders from across the region to meet their legislators and discuss the issues impacting their business. This year, the Forum will consist of three separate interactive virtual events occurring over three weeks, with each forum focusing on one or two major topics with six to eight legislators participating, and a mix of live and taped questions posed by business leaders. At the end of the programming, breakout rooms will provide an opportunity for attendees to further connect with legislators.

A message from the Chamber about the forums:

This is a critical year for business advocacy. There are many new legislators and different views on how to rebuild the economy. When business is healthy, it drives employment, wealth generation, and a vibrant state. Connecticut has found some reasons for hope coming out of the pandemic, but it will only be sustained in a more business-friendly environment. Please participate in these important events to let our legislators hear the voice of business.
