Halloran Sage is pleased to announce that four University of Connecticut School of Law students have joined the firm as summer associates.
Brittany Jones is a member of the class of 2024. She participates in the University’s Diversity Alliance, is Treasurer for the Black Law Students Association, and has competed in their Intramural Negotiations Competition. She earned her BA from the University of Virginia, Frank Batten School of Leadership, where she was on the Dean’s List and was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars as well as the Division I Track and Field team.
Felipe Villalón is a member of the class of 2023, where he is on the Connecticut Law Review and the Connecticut Moot Court Board. He earned his MA from Rutgers University and his BA from Pace University, where he was a member of the Pforzheimer Honors College and the Society of Fellows. He is also an infantryman with the Connecticut Army National Guard and was deployed on activity duty for Operation Enduring Freedom.
Mary Vlamis is a member of the class of 2023 and is the Administrative Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal, as well as a member of the Womxn’s Law Association. She earned her BA in economics and political science, magna cum laude, from the University of Connecticut, where she was an Honors Scholar and Secretary General of the Model United Nations.
Christopher Wiezbicki returns to Halloran Sage after serving as a summer associate in 2021. He is a member of the class of 2023, where he is on the Connecticut Law Review and has received three CALI Excellence Awards for Legal Practice in Research and Writing, Criminal Law, and Principles of Insurance. He earned his BA from the University of Connecticut, where he was on the Dean’s List, was a recipient of the Presidential Scholars Award, and was a member of the Honors Program.
The Firm’s Summer Associate program provides an opportunity for law students to work in a legal environment and gain practical legal experience and exposure to law firm practice. Summer Associates work with Halloran Sage attorneys from multiple practice groups while receiving mentorship from a dedicated Partner.
