Three teams of attorneys and staff from Halloran Sage helped in the construction of Habitat for Humanity homes in the Greater Hartford, Greater New Haven and Coastal Fairfield County areas.
Employees from the Hartford office traded their desks and computers for hammers and hard hats as they drilled holes for HVAC and hung siding atop outside scaffolding. In New Haven, another group hung sheetrock in a two-story home, and in Fairfield County, others added support beams for kitchen cabinets and built the second-story subfloor of a two-family house. Despite the extreme heat and humidity, a great time was had by all as they worked together in support of their local communities.
Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states in the U.S. and in approximately 70 countries. Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
