To increase the pipeline of diverse talent entering the legal profession in accordance to the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA)’s Pledge & Plan, the CBA has partnered with Kaplan to offer scholarships which will allow diverse students in need of financial assistance to take part in law school admission exam prep classes. Kaplan has created a program to help talented students take advantage of prep courses that they would not otherwise be able to afford.

As a signatory to the Pledge, Halloran Sage reaffirms its ongoing commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion within its organization and within the Connecticut legal community as a whole. Halloran Sage also affirms that creating a more diverse and inclusive legal community will positively impact the fair and just application of the law and strengthen the public trust in the administration of justice.

Diversity, as it is used in the Pledge, is an inclusive concept that embraces age, color, ethnicity, familial or marital status, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, race, religion, sexual orientation and socioeconomic background.

Halloran Sage will contribute to the scholarship fund for diverse college students who wish to participate in a Kaplan prep course prior to sitting for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
