For the over five years, Halloran Sage has partnered with Dakin Humane Society, an animal welfare organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in need. The group provides critical services, including veterinary care, food, shelter, behavioral training, and spay/neuter services to over 20,000 animals referred to them each year. Their work not only addresses immediate needs but also supports long-term outcomes by preparing animals for adoption and strengthening the communities that care for them.

In support of Dakin’s mission, Ali Spafford has proudly served on the Board of Directors, where she is currently the sole attorney contributing legal guidance at the leadership level. In this role, she has provided comprehensive pro bono counsel across a wide range of matters, including intellectual property, commercial real estate, corporate governance, and issues related to bequests and charitable donations. Her legal insight and contributions have helped the organization navigate complex operational and strategic decisions while maintaining compliance and protecting its long-term interests.
