CT judge sets deadline for Killingly homeowner to demolish it

Congratulations to Kenneth Slater who recently obtained a positive result in a civil matter regarding the demolition of a badly damaged and deteriorated building in Killingly, CT. Representing the town, Halloran Sage filed the brief to demolish the hazardous multi-family property. The structure is in danger of collapsing and harming pedestrians as it is located near a public road and footpath. Even contractors are unable to safely enter causing the town and property owner to battle for over 4 years. “Put simply, this building is a ticking time bomb where the risk of imminent collapse increases with each passing day,” attorney Kenneth Slater Jr.  wrote in the Sept. 15 court brief.
