Halloran & Sage Healthcare Practice Group Chair Arnold Menchel will be a speaker for the Connecticut Bar Association’s CLE seminar titled The Interplay of HIPAA and Attorney-Client Privilege on February 25, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the CBA Law Center in New Britain. The seminar is presented by the Litigation Section and Young Lawyers section of the CBA.
The seminar will define the HIPAA privacy rule, outline patient rights and access to health information, and analyze the HIPAA interplay with privilege, confidentiality and attorney work product. Arnold will be the first presenter of the program and will provide a general overview of HIPAA law.
