Each fall, more than 1,000 attendees, including local government leaders from across the state and companies providing the best in products and services to towns and cities, gather together for the Annual Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM) Convention. This year’s took place at Mohegan Sun’s Earth Expo Hall with informative workshops, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities.

Halloran Sage has been the Municipal Excellence Awards Sponsor for several years now. The awards recognize innovative projects and individuals that have significantly improved the quality of life for citizens, established partnerships, and built community support. The competition applauds the achievements of leaders and municipalities and encourages others to strive for excellence. Awards have been presented each year at the Annual Convention by our Managing Partner, Ken Slater, which includes a check towards their initiatives. Congratulations to the towns of Ridgefield, Windsor, and Manchester, and the City of Bridgeport!

Ken also attended the dinner where he presented the Joel Cogen Lifetime Achievement Award to John Elsesser, retired Town Manager of Coventry and the Richard C. Lee Innovators Award to Catherine Palazzi, Senior Coordinator of Andover. Congratulations to both for their incredible dedication and accomplishments within their respective towns.
