Mary F. Vlamis is a strategic litigator focusing on healthcare law, administrative law, and civil litigation. She represents institutional and community-based healthcare providers in Medicaid audits, HIPAA compliance matters, reimbursement disputes, and administrative licensing and other hearings before the Department of Public Health and the Board of Court Examiners for Nursing. Mary represents municipalities before the Department of Public Health in public health proceedings and any appeal to court of any of these administrative hearings. She also represents corporate clients in court in commercial disputes, and national insurance carriers in tort and policy contract disputes.

Mary’s litigation background informs her proactive counsel to healthcare organizations. She helps providers assess risk, strengthen compliance programs, and mitigate exposure before disputes arise.

Mary graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served as Administrative Editor of the Insurance Law Journal. She earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in Economics and Political Science from the University of Connecticut and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
