Devin L. McMahon is a litigator whose practice focuses on defending insurance-related claims, and a wide range of business and commercial legal matters. He represents clients in motor vehicle liability, premises liability, professional liability, employment disputes, and other complex civil claims.

Prior to joining Halloran and Sage, Devin worked at a small, boutique law firm in the Hartford area managing and prosecuting a diverse caseload which primarily focused on plaintiff-side tort actions and commercial claims, including, foreclosures, lender liability, and landlord tenant disputes. Devin handled all aspects of litigation in both state and federal courts. In addition to his litigation practice, he assisted individuals and businesses with contract drafting and negotiation, real estate and transactional matters, corporate formation, and other commercial matters.

During law school, Devin gained valuable legal experience through a judicial internship with the presiding judge at Hartford Superior Court, where he assisted in mediations, arbitrations, and civil proceedings. He also worked at large U.S. insurance and financial services company, conducting regulatory research and supporting compliance initiatives within the insurance industry.

Devin earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
