"In the course of representing my clients, I work as hard for them as I did for myself when I was a business owner."

Alan Curto was a practicing pharmacist for almost twenty years and the owner of a successful pharmacy business prior to his legal career. He therefore learned first-hand the lessons of operating a business in a highly-regulated environment. Applying these lessons to his business and administrative law practice, Alan assists clients in the following areas:

He also represents individuals and municipalities in a wide range of administrative matters before many Connecticut state agencies. Most recently, he has negotiated a number of power purchase agreements and leases for solar energy projects on behalf of municipalities and other public entities.

Alan recently broadened his practice to include environmental and land use law, in which he now represents clients before the State of Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, and before municipal wetlands and zoning agencies. He also advises these same municipal agencies, and represents both categories of clients in zoning appeals and enforcement actions in the Superior Court.

In all of his client representations, Alan strives to put himself in the client’s position, and to work toward achieving the best possible result on their behalf.
