Women’s Initiative

Halloran Sage’s Women’s Initiative represents a firmwide effort toward the recruitment, retention and advancement of women attorneys. The group objectives include fostering strong internal relationships, expanding business contacts, and building leadership skills. Monthly meetings contain both an educational and social component and provide an opportunity for members across practice areas and locations to exchange ideas and insights.

In 2016, Halloran Sage became an inaugural signatory to the Connecticut Bar Association’s Diversity & Inclusion Pledge, declaring diversity and inclusion as core values of the firm. To carry out this pledge, we allocated the firm’s full philosophical and financial support towards self assessment and created a senior-level Diversity Committee, which is charged with the oversight of all diversity initiatives throughout our firm. We open our training programs to all attorneys in the firm and we encourage lawyers to participate in outside seminars and conferences. The firm underwrites the cost of continuing legal education, membership in professional organizations and attendance at outside seminars.
