Lauren Benoit is a transactional attorney concentrating her practice in Trusts and Estates, Corporate Transactions, and Real Estate. Her experience includes estate planning, elder care planning, and probate law, with a focus on trusts, wills, healthcare proxies, and powers of attorney. Lauren routinely assists clients with design and drafting of their personal estate plans, including elder law planning, preparation of applications for MassHealth, asset reviews, and probate estate administration. She also assists clients with a variety of transactional and residential real estate matters, including reviewing and negotiating purchase and sale agreements.
A graduate of Western New England University School of Law, Lauren earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, where she was the recipient of the 2025 Hampden County Bar Association’s Colonel Archer B. Battista Veterans Scholarship. During law school she was awarded several competitive scholarships in recognition of her academic accomplishments and commitment to pursuing a legal education while raising a family. These honors included the Dorothy F. Sheehan Endowed Scholarship, the Suzanna Anstine Norbeck Endowed Scholarship, the Joan D. and Judge Luke F. Ryan Endowed Memorial Scholarship, and the Burton Family Endowed Scholarship. Lauren received her Bachelor of Arts in English, with a minor in Psychology, from the University at Albany, graduating summa cum laude.
In 2021, Lauren enlisted in the United States Air Force Reserve, fulfilling a lifelong aspiration to serve her country. In addition to her legal practice at Halloran Sage, she currently serves as a Paralegal in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG). She is a recipient of the Air and Space Achievement Medal for outstanding achievement and meritorious service during a five-month active-duty tour.
Lauren was a member of Halloran Sage’s Summer Associate Program in 2024 and joined the firm full time upon receiving her Juris Doctor.
