Brittany Jones is a member of the labor and employment and civil litigation practice groups. She counsels businesses in matters including labor law compliance, hiring, evaluation, discipline, contracts, layoffs, termination of employees, and employment handbooks and policies. She also represents individuals and businesses in litigation matters arising from employment relationships including discrimination, hostile work environment, and retaliation claims. Brittany has experience with civil/commercial litigation matters for a wide range of companies in a variety of industries. Often providing support to Halloran Sage’s insurance practice group, she also handles issues related to insurance defense.
Prior to earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law, Brittany was a Law Clerk at Halloran Sage and an intern for the Federal District Court for the District of Connecticut with the Honorable Judge Sarala V. Nagala. In law school, Brittany served as an Executive Editor for the Connecticut Journal of International Law, President of the Black Law Students Association, and President and Founder of the Christian Law Students Association.
Before law school, Brittany graduated from the University of Virginia while excelling as a Division I Track and Field athlete.
