Kathy is an experienced civil litigation attorney, having practiced in numerous areas including tort and general liability; professional liability; commercial litigation; insurance coverage disputes; alternative dispute resolution via mediations and arbitrations; healthcare and worker’s compensation.
Her extensive jury trial and bench trial experience is the foundation of her proven ability to successfully litigate complex cases in all Connecticut state Court venues and jurisdictions.
Kathy has worked with many large insurance companies as well as national self-insured businesses, advising on major risk management, prevention and assessment. She enjoys the hard work of advising clients on efficient strategies to avoid litigation and guides them on what to expect if the case is tried to a jury. Working with clients to develop practical strategies within their framework is also a large piece of Kathy’s practice. Known for her “out of the box” resolution strategies short of trial, clients rely on her techniques to garner a successful outcome.
