Michael Satti practices commercial litigation and labor and employment law with a focus on trade secrets and non-compete litigation, employment law counseling, and litigation and administrative law. He defends public and private sector employers against claims of sexual harassment; wrongful discharge; breach of implied and express contracts; and age, race, sex, and disability “whistleblowing” and other actions in Federal or State court.
Mike represents private sector employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) and the Connecticut and Federal Departments of Labor, including arbitration before the State Board of Mediation and Arbitration and the State Board of Labor Relations.
Mike also practices municipal law and handles tax appeals and planning and zoning appeals for Connecticut municipalities. He represents quasi government entities in collective bargaining negotiations and in the adjustment of grievances either in their initial steps or in arbitration.
While his practice focuses on Connecticut based clients, he has also represented clients in California, New York, New Jersey, Minnesota, and the State and Federal courts of Massachusetts.
Mike is a past member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Connecticut and the American Bar Associations, the Federal Practice Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.
