Mike also possesses a depth of experience in municipal law. He began his legal career in 1986 in the Office of the Corporation Counsel for the City of Hartford, addressing the many issues and challenges presented to municipal officials. During his nearly twenty-year tenure with the City, including the last eight years serving as the Deputy Corporation Counsel, Mike provided pragmatic advice on every aspect of a municipal corporation and aggressive representation in litigation. Mike is a member of the Connecticut Association of Municipal Attorneys and the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities. He is an active member of the Irish American Home Society, where he is a past vice president and former member of the board of directors, and he is a former member of the Board of Assessment Appeals for the Town of Glastonbury.
