Susan A. McCoy practices in the areas of Estate Planning & Probate Administration and Residential and Commercial Real Estate. She leverages broad legal experience to assist clients with their personal and business planning as well as their real estate matters.
In her Estate Planning practice, Susan provides a spectrum of estate and trust planning services, including:
Representing small, closely held businesses, Susan provides counsel in formation, financing, succession planning, and general business needs, tailoring services to the unique characteristics and needs of the client.
In addition to assisting with planning needs, Susan also provides her clients with assistance in all matters of residential and commercial real estate, including:
Susan is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Hampden County Bar Association. She is a Member and past President of the Estate Planning Council of Hampden County. She was a 2010 recipient of BusinessWest’s “40 Under Forty” award and was recognized in 2012 as one of the top twenty-five “Women To Watch” by Western Massachusetts Woman’s Magazine. Susan is also recognized in the 2024 and 2025 publications of The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Trusts and Estates.
She is involved in community activities, serving on the Board of Trustees for the Mason-Wright Foundation, former member of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Pioneer Valley, Inc., and as a founding member of the Women’s Leadership Council for the United Way. She also assisted the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Shelter in the formation of a non-profit fundraising foundation.
