Attorney Brian Rich will present a CLE course titled “Creative Defense Strategies: The Best Defense is a Good Offense” in New Jersey and New York in mid-March.
The presentation will examine various defense strategies, including sanction motions, gatekeeper motions, offers of judgment, rent receivership, discovery, pre-judgement remedies, asset discovery and other considerations. Any attorney may attend the hour-long event. The event qualifies for CLE credits in New York and Pennsylvania.
Brian regularly represents some of the world’s largest banks and financial institutions, as well as local and regional clients. A veteran of the trial and appellate courts, he handles a variety of business and commercial disputes, including contract claims, real estate litigation, contested commercial and residential foreclosure actions, mortgage resolution, fraud and lender liability claims, as well as claims for unfair business practices.
He has tried dozens of bench and jury trials to conclusion in both state and federal courts. Brian also regularly appears in the Connecticut Appellate Court, Connecticut Supreme Court and United States Courts of Appeal for the Second Circuit, as well as in arbitration and mediation proceedings.
