This August, John Howell of our Washington, D.C. office will moderate a panel on the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS) regulatory processes. The event will take place in Chicago during the Public Contract Law Section of the American Bar Association’s Annual Program. The panel is expected to describe the legal relationship between the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) and the FAR/DFARS regulatory process, the legal requirements for amending the FAR/DFARS, and potential judicial review of FAR/DFARS rules.
